Global Data Vault (GDV) was founded in 2002 to provide superior technology for backup and disaster recovery services. With a worldwide customer base, GDV’s fast growth is a function of the quality solutions and an exceptional value proposition. GDV’s head office is in Dallas, Texas and serves customers through data center facilities in the United Sates, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
Management team
Anthony Galley, Chairman and Founder
Anthony’s career started in the Contact Lens Industry where he spent 15 years with two private companies with responsibility for manufacturing operations in a highly regulated environment. He was also responsible for a number of acquisitions and had a General Management and Board role. His business experience during this period was across Europe and the USA.
Together with some former colleagues, Anthony acquired Mistral Internet, an ISP and hosting provider in 2001 with his own resources and sales increased through a series of acquisitions as well as organic growth by a factor of five to over $40m in revenue by 2007 at which point the business was acquired by Kingston Communications.
Global Data Vault was created as a subsidiary of Mistral in 2002 and retained by Anthony after the sale. He has an MSc. in Computer Science from Oxford University and an MSc. in Business Studies from London Business School.
Will Baccich, CEO
Will is a founding shareholder and CEO of Global Data Vault and a member of its Board of Managers. He brings experience that spans the industry, across a variety of markets that include ERP solutions, database applications, and software development. Within these areas, Will has held senior positions and been responsible for product development, operations, marketing, and general management. Will Holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Louisiana State University and was certified by the Louisiana State Board of Accountancy in 1986.
Angela King, Sales Director
Angela leads Global Data Vault’s sales effort. Her expertise and experience in configuring backup, disaster recovery, and failover solutions has been invaluable to GDV customers and resellers. Her primary roles include assisting customers document the requirements and envision the solutions for their backup, disaster recovery, and failover solutions. Angela’s strategic vision helps GDV resellers assist their clients and build their businesses. Angela’s professional reputation for superior service and leadership are highly valued by GDV’s resellers and end-users.
Brian Brignac, Operations Manager
As Global Data Vault’s Operations Manager, Brian brings a diverse range of skills to the task of building, monitoring and maintaining the global network and infrastructure which support all of GDV’s operations and customer services. And while Brian works tirelessly to ensure that Global Data Vault continues to maintain the industry’s highest levels of reliability, he bridges the gap between technical vision and working solution.
