- Individual performance may vary.
- To estimate your speed, open our Speedtest and use the "Upload speed". Actual speed is the actual available transit speed. So, if total speed is 10 Mb, but average usage is 6 Mb than only use 4 Mb in the calculation. Most users connect to GDV at off-peak hours - so the maximum bandwidth is usually available.
- Transfer time in hours (green) or days (gray).
- The full size of the protected data is moved one time only - and can be moved on media if these times are too slow.
- Only data changes are moved on a nightly basis. So normal backup times should be calculated on the basis of daily data change - not total data protected. For further efficiency, only changes within each file are sent, not the whole file.
- If other constraints exist, for example very slow disk speeds, actual transfers may be slower.
