Online Backup
Online backup refers to the concept of making backup over the internet or “online”. Due to security concerns associated with the internet, online backups should always be encrypted at the primary site. Because most internet connections are not fast enough to move large amounts of data, online backup is usually accomplished by moving the data once in its entirety then only moving data which has changed since the last backup on a routine basis.
