Global Data Vault Again Named in Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies
Dallas, TX – August 12, 2014 – For the fourth consecutive year, Dallas-based Global Data Vault, the cloud-based disaster recovery and data protection company is among the Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies owned or operated by Louisiana State University graduates.
The LSU 100 identifies the “…fastest growing tiger businesses” owned or led by LSU graduates, in the world. This is not only a celebration of these companies’ success but also provides a forum to pass lessons to the next generation of LSU entrepreneurs.
Candidate companies are ranked by Postlethwaite & Netterville by compound annual growth over a two year period. The resulting LSU 100 comprises a list of alumnus entrepreneurs from across the United States, as well as internationally, recognized for business leadership and growth. Ranked companies are reviewed as to business conduct standards consistent with the values and image of the Stephenson Entrepreneur Institute and LSU. The LSU 100 celebrates the success of former LSU students and recognizes the impact of LSU on the local, regional and national economies.
“Global Data Vault is honored to be among the LSU 100 class of 2014. The recognition belongs to our entire team. I think basketball great Michael Jordan put it well in saying that, ‘Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.’” said Will Baccich, CEO of Global Data Vault.
Global Data Vault’s CEO, Will Baccich, is a 1980 computer science graduate of LSU. After his degree at LSU, Baccich went on to work in accounting and computer software before co-founding Dallas-based Global Data Vault in 2001. Baccich resides in Dallas, but his loyalties remain with his alma mater.
“LSU was a great foundation for entrepreneurial success. We’ve built on those business principals by working hard as a company to develop an expanded offering and consistently deliver world-class service to our customers,” says Baccich. “The dedication of this team to embrace new technologies, creatively solve our customer’s challenges, and ensure that our client companies have a viable solution that offers them peace of mind is something we strive for daily, and is reflected in our growth.” says Baccich.
The “LSU 100” strives to offer its honorees more than an awards ceremony and plaque. It also celebrates the spirit of success by providing a forum to pass lessons on to the next generation of LSU entrepreneurs. Part of the upcoming October festivities is a unique pairing of educational opportunities for the LSU 100 recipients to share their insight with the future generation of LSU entrepreneurs, and of course – a football game.
